Dear Christopher,
What can you get for $15 these days? A couple of pizzas. A DVD. A bus ticket from Washington, D.C. to Philadelphia. Today, for $15, you can help this campaign change America. Monday night's big event at MCCXXII is filling up and we want to be sure all of you have an opportunity to meet and greet John Edwards while he's in the D.C. area. To get your ticket, click the link below:

Here are the details:
What: "Small Change for Big Change" grassroots fundraiser with John Edwards and you
Where: MCCXXII, 1223 Connecticut Ave NW, off Dupont Circle (south end), Washington D.C.
When: Tuesday, June 19th, 5:45 PM
Tickets are $15 and there will be a cash bar at the event. You shouldn't need to fork over $2,300 to meet a presidential candidate. You shouldn't need a paycheck with nine zeroes in it to rub elbows with a fellow American. And Tuesday, John Edwards has made sure you don't. All you need to join us is your energy, support, enthusiasm, and enough pocket change for a bus ticket. This campaign is about all of us working together to achieve transformational change for our country. We're talking about the big things like universal health care, eliminating poverty here and around the world, putting an end to global warming, and ending this war in Iraq. These are big ideas - and if we work together they will become a reality. Join us in this effort! This is your chance to meet John and talk about what's next. He's looking forward to hearing your ideas on how to put this country back on track. For the same amount of money you spend on a bus ticket, a couple of pizzas or a CD, you can help bring about this change. See you Tuesday night.

Style Weekly: "the politics of fear and a growing racial divide still cripple Richmond [Virginia]." Mayor Douglas Wilder: "a cesspool of corruption and inefficiency." Ninth most dangerous city in the US. The state claims that "Virginia is for lovers" but the General Assembly passed a law "which some contend is the most anti-gay legislation in the country." (Style Weekly) And don't get me started on Henhicko County, Native American for "land of the hicks." Now at www.richmondsucks.com.

About Me

- "...the quintessential everyman, he's a little bit of everything that we're all striving for... mostly the search for the truth in our lives. From poignant notions of love to our own inescapable lascivious tendencies, from mundane to the outlandish, on that journey we face tough questions, but even tougher decisions. He'll take you on his journey and back, he won't promise you enlightenment (who can?), but you can at least be assured of a good time. Thanks..." - boyzco
